Blazebrain Branding & Graphic Designs

How it started...

An engineering manager who is also a friend informed me that he wanted to create his personal brand. He had already chosen the name, Blazebrain, and has become popular with it as well but he needed to build a brand around it. So, He is branding at this time to unify all the efforts and bring structure, organization and a face to all the impact he has been making on the community and beyond. 



We were two designers that worked on this project of creating the brand identity. While I was a major contributor and presented two iterations of the logo icon, the other designer, Joshua, also contributed significantly to the project and also presented a logo iteration. Also, it was one of the logo iterations from my end that was eventually chosen.

What was Next...

We kicked off the project by agreeing on the project cost and duration which was presented in the project proposal. After this, the brand owner and both of us as designers got on a discovery call to properly understand the brand, clear doubts and understand the longterm goals and plans of the brand.

From the discussions, it was clear that the core behind Blazebrain is making an Impact, in every possible space and preferably behind the scenes. However, when the name is mentioned, it strikes the Idea of a powerful and capable support system.

Afterwards, we proceeded to brainstorming, ideating and sketching to create the iterations of the logo icon that would best represent the brand. We the designers had a couple of discussions along the way too to share ideas and validate approaches.

Of Course, Results to Show...

After careful study of the brand values and the excerpts from the discovery call we had, we came up with the full branding package that best represents Blazebrain.

 We created the Brand presentation document containing the logo and other assets included in the deliverables as promised in the project proposal.

The complete package delivered to the client covered the logo icons in various formats, sizes, lockups and usages, the colour palette, the typogaphy pack, brand patterns, design of business card, letterhead, official stamp, tote bag, caps and T-shirts as well as their respective mockups.

The client was very satisfied and impressed with the work and the outcome. Of course we were also happy because it was truly a work well done. Additionally, I have created some graphic designs for the brand as the current designer for the brand and the branding assets have been very helpful with making the graphic design work faster and better.

Additionally...

The brand has already kicked off and making more impact with a brand name and structure to it. The purpose of the branding is being fulfilled and everyone is happy!
